Insurrectionist still drawing large number of readers…contributors confused.

In a bold move designed to facilitate slacking, Insurrectionist contributors have not posted any new information on their website in a very, VERY long time. According to Web-track resources however, just as many people are reading the post-pentecostal web-zine now as when updates were more frequent. This casts an odd light on Insurrectionist readership.

“We may be on to something,” stated Insurrectionist Darrel Belyeu. “Apparently, despite what my mother told me, I CAN sit on the couch playing video games and eating microwave burritos and still have people log on to read what I haven’t written.”

“Never underestimate the power of a really cool font.” added Insurrectionist Jerry Redman. “That will keep them coming back every day…obviously.”

“After Chapman was found not-guilty of a crime that he was never really accused of by a bunch of guys that represent a bunch of people who aren’t sure what they believe anyway, I just sort of tuned out.” stated contributor Troy Hamby. “Maybe it would help if someone did something cutting edge again, like taking communion more than once a quarter or something.”

“We still have a website?” said editor-in-chief Rob Alderman.

Developing…

  1. are there real people surfing in to the site? or is it just my google reader (and others) checking to see if you have ended the slacking yet.

why don’t you post something about the protests in iran, the swine flu hype or maybe a fine op-ed piece on “so you think you can dance”?

  2. Mike, I think YOU should write the dance piece. Definitely.

  3. Agreed.

As a full-on linked to Insurrectionist now, it is your God-given duty to write about it.

And yes, real people. Crazy, eh?
